Word Arrangement

For this project we were asked to make a hand rendered typographic design. This design was to include a serif font, a san serif font, a script font, and an ampersand. I didn't have too much trouble with this project. It was very similar to other projects we have done in the past.  The things I liked most about this project was getting outside my comfort zone. 

The way I left my comfort zone and stretched my creative muscles was not relying so heavily with digital mediums. I started by jotting down word combinations that I think would work. From there I made 10 thumbnails with different typefaces and word combinations. I took my favorite two designs and made ransom note style cut out letters to make a sample design and took my favorite and traced it then copied it to make my final. I used a light table to make my final and I'm happy with it. I wish my outlines on the word breathe were less shaky and less shaky overall.
