Icon Project

For this assignment we were given a list of things to choose from and then we were to make Icons from those things. To start we all made thumbnails of the project to make the most out favorite designs and choose which to recreate. From there I went to illustrator to work on making finals. I enjoyed this part best because I feel this is when I am most in my element. I took my sketches and made what turned out to be my final designs

My least favorite part of every project is the time it takes to come up with ideas. Frequently I end up pigeon holing myself once I have an idea that I'm lukewarm about and have a hard time thinking outside the box. I had that problem with the bird one on this project. If I had more time I would revisit that icon. Other than that I really like the computer icon and I overall am proud of my work.
